Drinking more water!!!

Picture
can't tell ya how many websites I've read that in order to lose weight you need to adopt healthier habits aaaaand drink more water. Eliminate sugary stuff, and replace it with water. I don't doubt it because when I lost weight the last time I drank more water and less soda, sugar in coffee, etc. It did work, and here lately I've been trying to down more H20 as a new, good habit to adopt again.

So to help me further, I downloaded an app called Water Cat. It's a cute, round cat that loves water! Total opposite of the cats on our planet!!! It's free in the Google Play store, I don't see it available for iPhone owners, but this ain't the only app in the world that helps you drink more water. I just like it cause the little, chubby, blue cat meows when its time for you to drink.

Here's a brief snippet of what the app description says on the Play Store link above:

Drinking water is a good habit! And adorable Watercat will help you build this healthy habit easily!

70% of the human body is made up of water.
It would be hard to overestimate the importance of water: water transports nutrients and flushes out toxins, increases metabolism and helps lose weight, boosts energy and performance, has positive impact on skin health and makes you look younger, makes you feel good and cheerful - the list can go on and on.

However sometimes in the bustle of everyday life we do not pay attention to thirst or even confuse thirst and hunger. How to maintain water balance?
Here comes Watercat: drink reminder, water tracker & balance.

Watercat is a cute, beautiful and easy-to-use app which includes all the features you need to build a healthy habit of drinking enough water.

Watercat will become your perfect assistant that will send you notifications to make sure you didn’t forget to drink water and will compliment you on each glass! You will effortlessly drink more water and in no time you will be amazed of beneficial effects over your body, health and appearance.

So there you have it folks!! If you own an Android, give this app a try! I like the app and I've noticed a difference in how I feel when I get hydrated (pssst: its a good difference!!)

I know it can be hard to just switch over to water, but it takes your taste buds time to adjust. Once you do, drinking water will be like 2nd nature. Let's appreciate what God originally created for us to drink.

First post hurrah and a product I'm loving!

Ok y'all! First blog post!!! Hooray me! lol
Anyway I was told by one of the gals where I was working at about a product she loves. It's called Obvi. They have a very colorful branding, which I like. She told me to try the collagen burn. It's ok so far, I need to keep taking it whether or not I see results. I felt more pepped up and it seemed to help my hair and skin but I just got out of the habit of taking it.

So on with what I like, its the guilt free carb blocker, its supposed to suppress your appetite and make you feel full quicker and day 1 I noticed a difference!!! I also bought the detox supplement to see how it works, I like the supplements color and smell....weird I know but it smells like roasted seaweed snack which is yum btw.

You take 4 of the carb blockers in the morning with food and it lasts me all day. They say one habit in weight loss is to eat less and watch what you eat. It seems to also help my sugar cravings cause I kinda get a ick feeling in the pit of my stomach when I think of stuff like ice cream and whatnot.

Ok so weight loss tip for all of us: Eat less and be mindful of what you eat.

I've lost weight in the past and research is true its 80% what you eat and 20% exercise which is good for people like me who hates anything else but walking. So I am trying to tune myself into that point in time where I lost weight and it was effortless, but I look back and I think why was that......well I became a CNA and I spent more time after that being physically active (walking, pushing wheelchairs, giving showers, etc.), eating less (cause I had less time on my hands to eat), and now I'm working from home and its a total game changer.

So now I'm looking into one of those Total Gym sets that give you a full body workout and strength training from home and maybe a treadmill so I can walk and watch TV all at the same time. I miss seeing 6000+ steps on my phone every day like I used to do.

To all readers, what do you think? Let me know. :)
